AI Interrogation tips
Twelve things worth knowing before your next case. The first six change how you spend questions; the rest are failure modes worth recognising so you stop blaming yourself for them.
- 01
Open with the whole evening, not the crime
One question spent on “walk me through the night” buys a full statement they now have to live with. Every recorded confession starts from a timeline the suspect volunteered.
- 02
You are not limited to the evidence list
This is the trick players find by accident after days of being stuck: you can raise things the case file never gave you — CCTV, a witness, a stained jacket — and the suspect will respond to it.
- 03
Never ask a question they can end with “no”
If a flat denial costs them nothing, the question was free for them and expensive for you. Rewrite it so any answer either confirms a detail or contradicts one.
- 04
Quote their revision back, word for word
The moment a story moves — never went there, then maybe earlier, then “I went to grab my bike” — name the change out loud. In the Case 5 recording, the confession lands right after.
- 05
Refuse the suspects they offer you
The catering company. A disgruntled ex-employee. A crew who all own the same hammer. Each one is the suspect choosing your next question.
- 06
Motive last, not first
Asked at question one it is worthless. Asked once the timeline is broken it is what tips the bar over.
- 07
Stay calm and specific
The briefing warns it both ways: too mean and they shut down, too nice and they lie. Neither extreme moves the stress bar.
- 08
Repeating answers means that thread is dead
Once the suspect recycles a reply you have already seen, more pressure there is wasted. Move to something they have not had to explain yet.
- 09
A safety refusal is not a puzzle
Case 5 in particular can start saying it cannot discuss potentially harmful actions. That is the model, not you. Restart rather than argue.
- 10
Do not copy a walkthrough script
Every walkthrough eventually collects the comment “I did exactly this and it did not work.” The wording is generated live; only the method transfers.
- 11
Know which case you are actually in
There are several Roblox experiences with similar names, plus an unrelated Steam game. The one these tips describe is by TrueTalk AI.
- 12
Expect the difficulty cliff at Case 4
Earlier suspects contradict themselves outright. Victor answers with things that are technically true and useless. Budget your questions accordingly.
